20/11 Shoot

We used the lunchtime of the 20th to film on location for the paint fight scenes. This gave us from 12:30 to 1:30 which wasn't long considering we had not rehearsed this before but we were determined to get as much footage as possible in this time.
As we had learned of the difficulties using a large cast of extras, we decided to use ourselves as extras for this shoot. This made things a lot easier as we could direct whilst acting as well as showing the actors what we wanted to achieve while keeping them in the right mood. This meant that this shoot ran very smoothly.
The only major issue was the fact that we did not have Georgie on this day and so we knew we would have to shoot again the following week. However, this was possibly a good thing as it meant that we would have twice as much footage and the other actors would have had a rehearsal of sorts in advance.
Unfortunately did run over by quite a lot of time as we did not realise how long it would take us to get changed after the shoot. This wasn't a huge problem but it would be for the proceeding powder paint shoot as we could not run into lesson time.
We were pleased with the footage and it looked more impressive than we expected it to. We got a range of shots with regards to framing as we had learned that this was an issue with the balloon shoot. We also used the go pro to get some slow mo and point of view shots. This gave us a wide range of shots to choose from. We also realised that we needed more camera movement and so we planned some shots with regards to this for the next shoot.

We were also able to get some nice photos for our promo shots and website photos as the lighting that day was very complimentary of the colours:
